These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Link & Tailor website and application (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Gavin English, a sole proprietor ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for complying with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to your use of the Service.
The Service helps you generate resume and cover letter drafts using automated systems, including AI. The Service is a productivity tool, not a professional service.
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and confirming the accuracy and truthfulness of any content generated by the Service before you use it. All generated documents are drafts and may contain errors, omissions, or unintended statements.
You agree not to submit, publish, or use any output that misrepresents you. If you choose to use an output without verifying it, you do so at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any claim, dispute, penalty, or harm arising from:
The Service uses automated systems (including AI). AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or nonsensical content ("hallucinations"). Outputs may be similar to publicly available materials. You accept that outputs are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. You are redirected to Stripe to enter payment details. We do not collect, process, or store your full card number, CVV, or payment credentials.
Stripe’s services are governed by Stripe’s terms and privacy practices, not ours. We are not responsible for Stripe outages, errors, charge failures, or processing delays.
The Service uses a credit system for generation.
If you provide a job posting URL, the Service may attempt to fetch and extract text. Some websites prohibit scraping or automated access. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with any third-party website’s terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service.
You retain ownership of your input content. We own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and underlying systems. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, employment outcomes, reputational harm, or legal claims against you.
Maximum liability cap: If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Company for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your generated materials, your violation of law, or your breach of these Terms.
You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration, conducted in Michigan, USA, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access.
Class action waiver: You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict of laws rules. To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, exclusive venue shall be state or federal courts located in Michigan.
The Service is controlled and operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States.
We may transfer operation of the Service to an LLC or other entity. If we do, these Terms will continue to apply and remain binding.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
